Hathaway Brown is pleased to present the third annual Education Innovation Summit: Everybody's Children: Independent Schools, Educational Reform, and the Future of Teaching. This important gathering of teachers and administrators will take place October 4-5, 2012. Attendees will come together in Cleveland to explore pressing topics through a variety of lectures, presentations, and workshops. HB's Education Innovation Summit 2012 aims to raise and answer questions about how to improve education across the spectrum for the good of all America's students. Visit www.hb.edu/summit12 to learn more.
We're honored that Thomas L. Friedman, a Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for The New York Times and celebrated author, has agreed to serve as the keynote speaker for the Summit. And we're pleased also to feature Paul Tough, whose 2011 essay "What if the Secret to Success Is Failure?" was a much talked-about part of The New York Times Magazine. We're updating our speakers' roster every day, and some of the brightest minds in education will be sharing their perspectives with attendees. A full slate of lectures and panel presentations will be offered, and several schools around the country will be sharing their best practices. We've also built some time into the schedule for structured brainstorming and discussion sessions.
The 2012 Education Innovation Summit is open to teachers and administrators from all U.S. independent, public, private, parochial, and charter schools. Please join us! Help us spread the word by inviting your colleagues and professional associates to take part as well.
