December 6: Author and culinary expert Michael Ruhlman to speak at HB

Hathaway Brown is proud to present James Beard Award-winning author and culinary expert Michael Ruhlman as the second speaker in its 2012-2013 Learning for Life Speakers’ Series. Ruhlman's presentation, “The Cooking Animal,” is scheduled to take place on December 6, 2012 in The Ahuja Auditorium at Hathaway Brown, 19600 North Park Blvd. in Shaker Heights. The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. Space is limited and registration is required. Click here to sign up now.

Complimentary valet service will be provided for this program. Ruhlman will discuss the importance of cooking and writing about food. Several of his books will be available for purchase on the evening of the event, and a book signing will take place after the talk.

Michael Ruhlman is a well-known author, food blogger, cook, and journalist whose mission is to translate the chef's craft for every kitchen. He has authored or co-authored more than a dozen books about food and cooking, including Ruhlman's Twenty, which won both a James Beard Foundation award and an International Association of Culinary Professionals award.
