This weekend, the Speech and Debate team traveled to Mentor HS for our last tournament in November. HB finished tied for 4th place as a team. The following were the standout performances:
Aly Bryan '13- 1st place US Extemporaneous Speaking
Natalie Sayed '14 - 2nd place International Extemporaneous Speaking
Marta Baker '15/Aparna Narendrula '14 - 4th place Policy Debate
The following students earned enough points to become members of the National Forensic League: Sue Roy '15 and Claire Swanson '14
On December 1st, the team will travel to Olmsted Falls for one of the largest tournaments in the state this year.
