The G.R.O.W. Foundation will be presenting at the Ohio Grantmakers Forum conference, "Philanthropy Forward," taking place in Cleveland November 13-15, 2012.  G.R.O.W. — Girls Reaching Others Worldwide — is a student-run Middle School service organization which raises money to bestow as grants to selected organizations.  The foundation is led by faculty advisers Laura Zappas, Carrie Reilly, and Stephanie Hiedemann.

G.R.O.W. president Lina Ghosh and Upper Schooler Mary Alice Koon will be presenting during a session on November 14 titled From Poverty to Prosperity, which will focus on the roles philanthropy is playing, the impacts realized, and the lessons learned that can be shared with others interested in replicating successful models.  The G.R.O.W. Foundation has also been selected as one of ten organizations from around the state of Ohio to present a short speech on their passion about philanthropy during the final celebration/closing luncheon.  They are the only youth philanthropy organization being highlighted during this conference.
