35 Hathaway Brown students earned 82 out of 180 regional commendations from the Scholastic Art Awards, a longstanding, highly competitive local and national written arts program.
Scholastic Writing Awards are classified as Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention. An awards ceremony for the regional winners will be held at the Cleveland Institute of Art in January.
Each Gold Key-designated work is eligible for the Scholastic national competition and will be sent to New York City for judging at the close of the exhibition.
