In competitive auditions this past weekend, three HB musicians won select spots in the top orchestras in the state. All three girls won a place in the Northeast Ohio Regional Orchestra — comprised of top musicians from NE Ohio — and one student also will perform with the All-State Orchestra, made up of the top musicians for the state. The winners are:
- Northeast Ohio Regional Orchestra: Abby Cho '14, Arielle Goldberg '13, and Dana Mietus '15
- All-State Orchestra: Dana Mietus
You can hear all three girls perform with the Northeast Ohio Regional Orchestra at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Cleveland State University.
Dana will perform with the All-State Orchestra as well on Friday, February 8, 2013 in Columbus at the Ohio Music Educator's Association annual conference.
