McKenna Ritter '16 has been named the East Side Volunteer of the Month for April by the Youth Challenge organization where she volunteers. This distinction is given to someone every month to award him or her for service to Youth Challenge above and beyond what is expected. Youth Challenge was impressed by McKenna’s commitment to their organization, especially after her class requirement had been fulfilled, and her instant friendships with so many of the participants.Youth Challenge pairs children with physical disabilities and youth volunteers to participate in sports and recreational activities.
