We'll miss eighth grader Isabella Nilsson during the final days of the school year, but we wish her the best of luck in all the amazing activities that will take her away from our campus then.
Take a look at this incredible schedule: On May 25, she'll travel to the College of Wooster for the Power of the Pen State Championship; She'll be in Washington, D.C. for one week beginning May 27 representing Cuyahoga County in the Scripps National Spelling Bee; And on June 2, she'll swing by Carnegie Hall in New York City to pick up the four Creative Writing Awards she won in this year's Scholastic competition.
After that whirlwind of activity, she'll return to HB on June 4 for her Eighth Grade graduation, which happens also to fall on her 14th birthday.
Congratulations, Isabella!
